The Family Market Night could just be the ideal

communitydevelopment/

Family Market Night planning is in full swing and we

are looking forward to a fun filled event on Friday,

14th October at 5:30 to 8:30pm. The evening caters for

everyone, from performances by the College Choir, a

petting zoo, Sumo wrestling, sporting activities, face

painting and a jumping castle to name but a few, as

well as a huge variety of stalls to warm any shopper’s

heart.

The Family Market Night could just be the ideal place

to come do some early Christmas shopping in a festive

family friendly environment. This will be a fantastic

opportunity for the community to come together

whilst supporting their local school. We hope to see

you all there!

We had a very successful 'Dad’s & Mentor's Date Night'

on Thursday, 28th July. Mr Kevin Manning from Casey

City Church and Mr Andrew Austin of 'Dad’s Matter'

at the City of Casey organised the event. The Dads,

Stepdads, Uncles, Grandpas or male mentors were

invited to come with the children for an awesome

evening of games, prizes, 'snags', fun, laughs and a

special message for Astronauts in training. As husbands

and fathers Kevin and Andrew are keen to share and

show their love of family to other men in effective and

practical ways.

The children enjoyed buying gifts for their Dads, Pops

and Uncles at the annual Father’s Day stalls. It is always

a delight to see the children’s faces when they are

deciding about what gift would be the best to buy.

A group of parents meet weekly at the College to pray

for the College and the wellbeing of its staff, students

and families. The Prayer Group meet on Tuesday

mornings at 9:15 - 10:00 am in the Administration staff

room. Prayer undergirds all that we do and we are so

appreciative that parents are supporting the school in

this vital manner. We want to warmly invite anyone

who is interested in joining. All are welcome.
