Our Gifted and Enrichment programs operate across

a broad range of subjects, using qualified specialists

as mentors for areas of student passion. A variety of

research based grouping strategiesmay be implemented

based on the needs of individual students.

Teachers can provide challenging activities in the

classroom allowing for enrichment and extension

to occur. They may also use a variety of models and

strategies to compact and differentiate the curriculum.

Students may be invited to participate in team or

individual project based tasks.

Students in Middle and Senior School may also be

invited to represent the College in state and nation

wide competitions.

GIFTED &

ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

It is our role as educators to provide every student

with access to an education that meets their individual

needs. Inclusive Education is committed to recognising

and supporting children’s academic, social and

emotional needs. This is provided in an environment

that respects and nurtures their differences. Inclusive

Education supports children with diverse needs

including learning differences, diagnosed disabilities

and children who are intellectually gifted. The support

services are designed to supplement classroom

activities and are regularly evaluated and reviewed.

Literacy and Numeracy intervention programs are

available to children with identified needs. Social skills

programs, curriculum assistance and exam support are

also provided to children on a needs basis. Inclusive

Education staff are passionate about providing this

support in a relational and respectful manner, which

empowers children to reach their potential.
