SPORTS
St Philip’s Christian College Gosford provides an
opportunity for all students to be actively involved in
Sport both internally and as co-curricular events. Years
5 - 10 all have allocated Sport periods within their
fortnightly timetable. During this time students can
choose to participate in off-site activities or stay on-
site and participate in school based sports. Some off
campus activities have included Sailing, Bowling, Golf
and Tennis.
We are also an active member of the Hunter Region
Independent School (HRIS) association and as such
participate in the many Gala Days and Carnivals that
occur in a calendar year. This is a very competitive
association and our students perform well in these
competitions. We have had many students selected to
represent HRIS, AICES, CIS and also some who have
represented NSW in their chosen sport.
