Prospectus
St Philip’s Christian College Gosford has been blessed
to have provided education for International Students
since 1981. It is an honour to be able to facilitate an
educational environment for our students that is rich
with cultural diversity. The presence and contribution
of students from other countries is integral in the
formation of a global perspective for our students. Our
International Student Program provides opportunities
for students looking for short term and long term
stays. Short term students usually study from 2 to
12 weeks. Long term students usually remain here
to complete their Higher School Certificate. Our
key intake countries for long term students are from
China and Korea, however, we tend to attract a
greater range of nationalities for short term stays. We
also provide opportunities for our students to travel
overseas on short term stays to Korea and China.
We want to support the students for the whole of
their life, including offering support to students about
their direction beyond school. It is important that
they find a job that suits their interests, personality
and their God-given skills and abilities. The School
Careers’ Advisor aims to provide students with
information and guidance regarding further study at
University, TAFE, as well as work opportunities and
apprenticeships. In offering this valuable career advice
to our students we pray that our school leavers will
find a career that they love, so that they can make a
difference in the world.
