hillclimb, the Minson Motorkhana and the Northam Flying

entry forms and supplementary regulations would

be available soon

scrutineering will be two weeks beforehand on

19th March

b) Collie Icebreaker (20 – 21 Feb)

– Paul Bartlett

reported:

a link is now on VSCC website to MSW for forms

etc

scrutineering will be at the track on 20 Feb (not at

Welshpool)

c) Northam and Albany events

– club has applied to

Tourism WA for funding for the 2017 events.

d) 30th Anniversary

– Ed Farrar reported that planning was underway and the MG Car

Club would be invited to join a rally to Albany.

e) Workshop

– Ron Fabry reported that the next Workshop Saturday is next Saturday (6th)

and the next Dad’s Army day is next Tuesday (9th) and invited members to join in and help

f) Library

– Mark Jones reported that a new stock of books had been donated to the club

by the estate of Dev Dvoretsky, a former UK motoring correspondent

g) Social

– Craig Bradtke reported on plans for a run from Midland to Caversham in

September

10. General Business:

a) Security cameras

– Graeme Whitehead suggested that monitored security cameras be

installed to protect the clubhouse from vandalism and theft; he agreed to obtain quotes for

their supply and installation and present these to the Management Committee for

consideration.

b) Relationship with CAMS

two members questioned whether a letter had been sent to CAMS regarding the

club’s relationship with CAMS and its handling of club members, as per a motion put at a

general meeting in November.

Rob Ozanne said that:

the previous committee had decided not to proceed with such action and

the current committee respected that decision.

the current committee was working with CAMS to improve the working

relationship and would deal directly with any new issues if they arise.

If any member has a particular concern which requires club action they

should table a formal motion at a General Meeting, giving members time to consider the

matter before being asked to vote on it.

c) Assistance for Waroona/Yarloop bushfires

– it was suggested that members could

donate tools for those who have suffered in these bushfires; it was agreed that members

could bring donations to the next General Meeting or deliver them to Astral Agencies &

Randle Beavis reporting on the
