Leading through change:
a case study of Telstra’s transformational story
Arena 1B, Ground Floor
This session continues our focus on the immense changes that are impacting the way we need to
do business. Technology, society, geopolitics and the ‘new consumer’ mean our industry will be very
different in the future.
We will need a different style of leadership, and David Thodey will share his thoughts on what kind
of new leader can navigate this constant change. Through his insights, David will share the Telstra
transformation story of how to lead cultural change, and of customer advocacy and what that means
in practice. He will also give his perspective on five major areas of transformation during his time
as head of the organisation: customer-centricity, culture, leading strategy, the changing nature of
leadership, and the need for innovation.
Mr David Thodey appears by arrangement with Saxton Speakers Bureau.
