Care homes
In Australia, Bupa Aged Care is one of the largest providers of residential aged care, employing over
8,700 people across 70 Care Homes and working with over 6,500 residents to help them live longer,
healthier, happier lives.
Our homes are led by a General Manager, along with Care and Clinical Managers who are also
Registered Nurses to oversee our residents’ care needs. Every Bupa care home has access to a
Registered Nurse 24-hours a day, and they are supported by a multidisciplinary care team. Some
of our homes also employ an in-home Bupa General Practitioner (GP) to provide our residents with
personalised and easy-to-access medical care.
Care homes vary in size, style, and in the services they offer. Below is a list of areas common to most
homes. You will be shown these on day one during your home tour.
