Security and surveillance
The security and wellbeing of our residents and employees is always our top priority. There are a
number of work instructions and committees in place which ensure each care home has a secure
working environment, such as;
•
Set times for locking doors and windows;
•
Automated security lighting;
•
Continuous Improvement;
•
Hazard log system to ensure hazards are identified and risk assessments
undertaken; and
•
Ongoing training of our employees in relation to fire and other emergencies.
You will receive more information and training on the above during your first few weeks of induction
in your care home. Attending the first fire safety training is vitally important to keeping yourself and
the residents safe.
