LIBRARY AND INFORMATIONWEEK 2016

The theme this year was ‘discover more’, and residents

enjoyed a number of free events designed to showcase

the extensive range of collections and services available at

Hurstville library. Highlights included:

• A live ukulele band performance by Hoola to launch the

library’s new ukulele collection

• An author talk about gardening in small spaces with

Indira Naidoo (left)

• A book giveaway at Riverwood Plaza

• ATeen book and graphic novel fair where patrons

chose items to be added to the library’s collection

• A preview of new books, DVDs and CDs available

from the library at

library at our eResource roadshow atWestfield

The library also welcomed nearly a hundred new

baby and toddler members during LIW 2016, with
