This exhibition provides a window into the free-spirited and bold
sense of creativity from young people with disabilities. It will raise
awareness of the special gifts that young people with disabilities can
offer and demonstrate the role of diversity in our community.

In an exhibition of photographs of the natural world, Julie Ellitt uses
photography to express her love of colour and movement.
‘SIGNIFICANT BUILDINGS’: ST GEORGE ART SOCIETY
EN-PLEINAIR PAINTING GROUP
22 August – 4 September
An exhibition of works painted by members of the St George Art Society
plein-air group.The artists will create evocative images of traditional and
modern buildings, from Primrose House at Dolls Point to the Federation
Pavilion in Centennial Park.
‘SOLITARY MOMENTS’: ROSALIE DULIGAL
5 September – 18 September
An exhibition of paintings about belonging, with works designed to generate a
sense of space and peace.
‘THE JOY OF COLOUR’: KOGARAH COMMUNITY
QUILTING GROUP AND ‘WHISPEREDTHREADS’
19 September – 2 October
‘The Joy of Colour’ is an exhibition by the Kogarah Community Quilting Group that
celebrates colour, harmonious, analogous, complementary, and all shades in between!
‘Whispered Threads’ is an exhibition by a group of eight artists who work in textiles,
producing art quilts. Now in its second year, each artist works in isolation, taking
inspiration from a previous quilt. None of the artists sees the other quilts until the
exhibition opening.
‘PORTRAITS AND STREETSCAPES’: PETER RUDD
3 October – 16 October
An exhibition of recent paintings and drawings exploring the colours and textures of the
suburban environment of Kogarah and portraits of the artist and his friends.
