2015 has been another exciting year in Science.

Students participated in a number of excursions

Year 8 –WildlifeWorld and Aquarium

Year 9 – Science week at the Australian Museum

Year 10 – Physics is Fun at Luna Park

Yr 10 Science/Maths bootcamp

Women in Engineering visit to UNSW

STARS

In the Education Perfect Science Championships

OLMC placed 1st globally for our category and 7th

globally overall.

Bushcare has continued at OLMC.With the support

of Ms Coghlan and SSC this project has successfully

engaged many students over the years and has

developed environmental stewardship amongst many

students.The school vegetable gardens continue to

flourish.

Many thanks go to our Science staff: Ms Coghlan,

Mrs Noort, Mrs Redmond and Mrs Vogt and Mrs

Wissam who have worked tirelessly with students

throughout the year.

Special thanks to our departing staff Mrs Harte, Mr

Dawson, Mr McGuinness and Mr Abi
