The major differences between total exports by industries in
Central Coast NSW and New South Wales were:
• A larger percentage of total exports by Manufacturing
(43.3% compared to 17.6%)
• A larger percentage of total exports by Accommodation
and Food Services (13.4% compared to 2.3%)
• A smaller percentage of total exports by Financial and
Insurance Services (2.5% compared to 16.7%)
• A smaller percentage of total exports by Professional,
Scientific and Technical Services (0.4% compared to 6.6%)
The total exports by industries in Central Coast NSW increased
by $211.4 million between 2009/10 and 2014/15.
The largest changes in total exports by industries between
2009/10 and 2014/15 in Central Coast NSW were for:
• Accommodation and Food Services (+$218 million
• Information Media and Telecommunications (+$211 million)
• Health Care and Social Assistance (-$173 million)
• Manufacturing (-$92 million)
Food Product & Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing accounted
for 20.8% of the manufacturing exports with $581.3 million.
