Consumer Catchment

The NSW Department of Planning & Environment report “New South

Wales State and Local Government Area Population Projections

states that the combined population Sydney Metropolitan,

Lower Hunter and the Central Coast will be 5,569,350.

These figures identify an easily accessible market sector with

more than 5.5 million people living within 2 hours drive of the

Central Coast.

The Central Coast Regional Plan 2036 indicates that “The region

is at the centre of the State’s fastest growing corridor from the

northern edge of Sydney to Newcastle. The projected population

along this corridor is estimated to be 1.1 million by 2036.”
