Based Radiation
Oncology Course

the Evidence Based Radiation Oncology
Course from 19–22 November at the
ParkRoyal Hotel, Darling Harbour,
Sydney, Australia.
This clinical refresher course will be
jointly hosted by the European Society
for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO)
School, the premier organisation for
radiation oncology education in Europe,
and the RANZCR Faculty of Radiation
Oncology.
The course will explore the evidence
basis behind the indications for
radiotherapy, and the radiation therapy
techniques for commonly occurring
malignancies. Illustrative cases will be
integrated into each sub-site session
and will form the basis of discussion. In
addition, this year will be the first year
in the course history to include the sub-
sites, skin and central nervous system.
Keynote speakers include Dr Chris
Cottrill (London), Prof Johannes
Kaanders (Netherlands) and Dr Li Tee
Tan (Cambridge). The program will also
feature a number of high-profile local
faculty. The program is available to view

Delegates will have the opportunity to
network with the international speakers
at the course dinner on Monday 21
November at L’Aqua, Dockside, Darling
Harbour. Dinner is included in the
