eLEARNING REPORT

eLearning and the use of

technology has continued to

develop at OLMC. Laptops

have been integrated into all

areas of the curriculum and

are now a fundamental tool

for learning across all KLAs.

At awholeschool level a range

of technologies have been

utilised including Clickview,

Sentral, and Google for both

administrative and learning

purposes.

Year 7 students began developing their technological

skills with the Mac Bootcamp which was then

supplemented with Information Technology (IT)

sessions in the PLS (Passport to Learning Success

programme).

Google Cloudshare continues to develop as the new

virtual learning environment for OLMC. Cloudshare

allows students and staff to create, share and

collaborate online. Cloudshare is powered by Google

Apps for Education and includes tools such as Google

Mail (gmail), Google Calendar, Picasa, Google Sites

and Google Drive.

Congratulations to our Yr 9 students who came

second in the CEO Psyberfest competition - well

done girls.

The use of technology always brings with it a range

of challenges, so special thanks must go to our IT

support staff - Mr Craig Coates, and Mrs Monica

Maidana who have assisted students and staff with

support for laptops and any other types technology

such as phones, iPads, cameras, printers, projectors,

and software.
