Central Coast Dwelling Approvals and
Net Dwelling Completions
The following graphs informed through the analysis of the NSW
Department of Planning and Environment Housing Monitor
Reports highlight the disparity between the levels of dwelling
approvals and dwelling completions particularly in the Gosford
area where net dwelling completion rates are considerably below
approval rates for both detached and multi-unit dwellings.
Whilst no analysis has been undertaken as to the reasoning
behind this disparity; it important to note the potential issue so
that measures can be taken to alleviate the housing shortage on
the Central Coast.
