Minutes of the Annual General Meeting – 7th November 2016

1. Meeting opened:

8:05 pm, Ian Fry presiding

2. Apologies:

3. Adoption of previous year’s minutes:

Motion:

That the Minutes of the 2015 Annual General Meeting of The

Vintage Sports Car Club of Western Australia (Inc) be adopted as a true record.

4. Business arising from Minutes:

5. Treasurer’s Report:

5.1 Current balances:

Members can obtain current balances from Rad Dickerson.

The significant financial features of the last 12 months were:

Northam

5.2 Audited 2015/16 Accounts.

5.3 Election of an auditor for 2016/17

(required under Clause 22 of the Club

Constitution).

Motion:

That Mr Gerard Luscombe be elected Auditor of The Vintage

Sports Car Club of WA (Inc) for the 2016/17 year. (It was noted that Mr Luscombe does not

meet the requirements of Clause 22)

6. President’s report:

It gives me great pleasure to deliver the 2016 VSCC Annual President’s Report.

The Management Committee has made it a priority this year to encourage greater member

participation in all aspects of Club administration and to this end great progress has been

made. It is pleasing to see an increasing number of people becoming more actively involved

in the Club.

For the first time in a long while all positions in the Management Committee have been

filled. Twelve enthusiastic members, each with a specific task, have worked hard this year to

deliver effective administration, ensuring the smooth running of the Club.

Treasurer, Rad Dickerson, has carried out a review of the administration of our finances

and implemented many improvements.

David Moir has carried out the duties of Club Secretary, a position that has been vacant for

many years. His quiet efficiency has ensured the Management Committee is able to conduct

its business in an orderly and timely manner.

Early in the year it was decided to appoint a Club Administrative Officer and we were very
