The major differences between the value added by industries

of Central Coast NSW and New South Wales were:

• A larger percentage of value added by Health Care and

Social Assistance (13.7% compared to 7.7%)

• A larger percentage of value added by Retail Trade

(9.2% compared to 5.5%)

• A smaller percentage of value added by Financial and

Insurance Services (6.0% compared to 14.9%)

• A smaller percentage of value added by Professional,

Scientific and Technical Services (4.6% compared to 8.2%)

The total value added by industry in Central Coast NSW

increased by $573.8 million between 2009/10 and 2014/15.

The largest changes in the value added by industries between

2006/07 and 2012/13 in Central Coast NSW were for:

• Health Care and Social Assistance (+$150 million)

• Accommodation and Food Services (+$123 million)

• Information Media and Telecommunications (+$118 million)

• Manufacturing (-$89 million)
